Child cases

Any accident involving a child is particularly distressing and often affects the whole family.

Minor claims i.e. relating to anyone under the age of 18, differs from adult injury claims and requires specialist handling by a solicitor who is experienced in such cases.

Any compensation that is awarded will be subject to the approval of a Judge to ensure that your child receives the proper level of compensation for their injuries.

Any award of compensation will usually be held in trust until your child attains the age of 18. The compensation will accrue interest. However in certain circumstances funds can be released before this date for your child's educational and/or social welfare needs.
