A female banker in the London office of a Russian bank has been awarded £3.1 million after being driven to mental collapse by a campaign of harassment and unfounded drug slurs by work colleagues, reported the Evening Standard.  The employment tribunal found last year that banker Miss Lokhova was subjected to harassment and victimisation in the work place and was also found to have been constructively dismissed. Sometimes work place accidents can be more fatal than a mere broken bone and the consequences are often devastating. A kayak manufacturer has been found guilty of corporate manslaughter after a worker became trapped and died in an industrial oven in Cheshire.
